There are those that feel our bodies and minds should not be free of government as they claim, but instead restricted and sent back into the dark days of our past. There was a time when, despite advancements in medical research and life saving technology a child could die of a common influenza because their parents could not afford care.
There are still times like that today.
You won't hear these stories, mostly because you don't want to or simply because you don't think it can happen to you. However, a majority of you don't have healthcare. Most that do risk losing it when you reach a certain age.

So why would you vote for someone who will take all your benefits away?
Many of my female friends receive free birth control and preventative health care at the clinics that are being threatened with funding cuts and all out removal. I want to remind everyone that these things are leading the race in preventing unplanned pregnancy. If anything we should provide more of these services and educational programs to those who do not want to bring life into this world until they are ready to be a parent. I also remind you that these clinics preach abstinence above all else, but know that they have no right to control a person's actions.
For the argument against abortions: I wont touch this with a 10-foot-pole, not because I don't have an opinion, but because I respect everyone's right to choose. I will say this: If you think that a woman who has been raped should be forced to have the child conceived this way, then you are no better than the man who forced sex upon her in the first place.
I don't understand how so many people count themselves among the republican party truly believe they are part of the successful people in the world. These people are not trying to make your life better, they are trying to squash you out one-by-one.
